RETURN AND REFUND POLICY

This Return & Refund Policy (“Policy”) governs all purchases made through the Bloomzon.com Platform (“Bloomzon,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By completing a purchase on our Website or Mobile Application, you acknowledge and agree to be bound by the terms of this Policy.

Our goal is to ensure that every customer has a fair and transparent experience when shopping with us. This Policy outlines the conditions under which returns, exchanges, and refunds may be requested, as well as the obligations of both customers and sellers in processing such requests.

1. GENERAL GUIDELINE:

We want you to be satisfied with your purchase. If you’re not, you may return eligible items within the timeframe below for a refund, replacement, or Bloomzon Wallet credit, subject to the conditions in this Policy.

This Policy applies to all Users globally. Where local consumer protection laws provide stronger rights than this Policy, those laws will prevail in that jurisdiction.

2. RETURN ELIGIBILITY AND TIMEFRAMES:

Standard Products 10 days from delivery Item must be unused, in original packaging, with all tags, accessories, and invoice included.
Electronics & Appliances 10 days from delivery Must pass functionality test. Manufacturer warranty may also apply.
Fashion & Apparel 10 days from delivery Must be unworn, unwashed, with original tags and packaging.
Food & Groceries Not returnable after delivery Only returnable if spoiled, expired, damaged, or not as described on arrival.
Restaurant / Prepared Meals Not returnable after delivery Only refundable if order is missing, incorrect, or unsafe.
Customized / Personalized Items Not returnable Unless defective or not as described.
Digital Products Not returnable once downloaded Except where product is defective or does not work as described.

Note for EU Customers: Under the EU Consumer Rights Directive, you have 14 days to cancel for most non-perishable goods. This overrides the 7-day window for EU buyers only.

3. NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS:

The following cannot be returned or refunded unless defective or not as described:

  • Personal care, hygiene, and beauty products once opened
  • Intimate apparel and swimwear once opened
  • Gift cards, digital codes, and vouchers once redeemed
  • Coins, wallet credits, and promotional rewards
  • Items marked as “Final Sale” or “Non-Returnable” on the product page

4. HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN:

How to initiate Return and Refund:

  • Send a mail to support@bloomzon.com and attach receipt of payment.
  • Choose a pick-up option:
  • Return item to our pick-up centers
  • We pick up from you within 1 to 3 Business Day.
  • Ensure your return slip is signed by our agents as proof or return.
  • Item should be in the Original Package. Tags or slips intact.

5. RETURN SHIPPING AND COSTS:

5.1 Faulty, damaged, or wrong item: Bloomzon or the Seller will cover return shipping costs and arrange pick-up where available.

5.2 Pickup: Available in Lagos. You must drop off at the designated courier point.

5.3 Ensure your return slip is signed by our agents as proof or return.

6. REFUND METHODS AND TIMELINES:

Once we receive and inspect the returned item and confirm it meets our conditions, we will process your refund as follows:

Bloomzon Wallet 24-48 hours Fastest. Credit can be used for future purchases on Bloomzon.
Original Payment Method 3 – 7 days Depends on your bank or card issuer. Card refunds may take up to 14 days.
Bank Transfer 5-10 business days For Nigerian bank accounts only. Requires account name matching the order name.
Currency Conversion For international orders Refunds will be processed in the original payment currency. The final amount may vary due to exchange rate fluctuations at the time of refund.

7. DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR WRONG ITEM:

If you receive a damaged, defective, or incorrect item:

  • Report it within 24 hours of delivery via the Bloomzon app with photos
  • Do not dispose of the item or packaging until we resolve the case
  • We will either replace the item at no cost or issue a full refund including original shipping fees

8. FOOD AND GROCERIES SPECIAL RULES:

Due to safety and hygiene requirements:

8.1. Perishables: No returns after delivery unless spoiled, expired, or tampered with on arrival. You must provide photos within 24 hours of delivery.

8.2. Allergens: If you have an allergic reaction due to incorrect ingredient labeling, contact us (support@bloomzon.com) immediately. Bloomzon is not liable for undeclared allergens where the Seller provided incorrect information.

8.3. Delivery Issues: If food arrives cold, melted, or spilled due to delivery, we will issue a refund or replacement at our discretion.

9. SELLER RESPONSIBILTYS:

For items sold by third-party Sellers:

  • The Seller is responsible for the quality, safety, and description of the product
  • Bloomzon will mediate the dispute but the Seller makes the final decision on refund approval
  • If the Seller does not respond within 48 hours, Bloomzon may approve the refund on behalf of the Seller

10. COINS AND PROMOTIONAL CREDIT (REWARDS):

Coins earned through the Earn Coins Daily program have no cash value and are non-refundable. Coins cannot be converted to cash or transferred to another account. See [Rewards Program Terms] for details.

11. NIGERIAN-SPECIFIC CONSUMERS RIGHTS:

For customers in Nigeria:

  • This Policy complies with the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act 2018 [FCCPA]
  • You have the right to safe, quality goods that match their description
  • If a product is unsafe or defective, you may request a refund, replacement, or repair under Section 120 of the FCCPA

12. INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS:

EUROPEAN UNION (EU) / UNITED KINGDOM (UK): You have additional 14-day withdrawal rights under the EU Consumer Rights Directive 2011/83/EU for non-perishable goods. This right does not apply to food, personalized items, or digital downloads.

UNITED STATES (US): Refunds comply with applicable state consumer protection laws. Some US states require cash refunds for wallet balances over $5.

TAXES & DUTIES:

For international orders, import duties and taxes paid are non-refundable unless the item is returned unopened and unused.

13. FRAUD AND ABUSE:

Bloomzon reserves the right to refuse a return or refund if we suspect fraud, misuse, or abuse of the return system, including but not limited to:

  • Returning used items as new
  • Multiple return requests from the same account without valid reason
  • Returning items purchased for resale
